My daughter has attended performing arts training with Amanda from the age of 8 until 18. It's difficult to know where to start in describing the experience but let's say my daughter has literally sung, danced and acted her way through her entire childhood. It has brought so much fun and joy not to mention the success and happiness. There have been many highlights, so many opportunities including touring Westend Musicals shows, TV filming opportunities, paid work , theatre school productions, workshops and showcases, singing and auditions. The teaching has always been challenging and varied. Students work hard. Amanda nurtures talent, stretches individuals according to ability and encourages students to explore and develop skills even if they don't think they will be any good at it. Amanda has truly shaped the performer that my daughter is today. Attending her school has been the springboard that launched my daughters career landing a professional contract in the business.
Amazing Teacher
My Daughter has been doing drama with Amanda for 3 years, she absolutely loves it and it has brought her confidence on so much. She started as a shy 5 year old little girl and now stands in front of an audience performing like a confident little 8 year old. I would highly recommend the Attic Theatre School it is a great environment for children of all ages and Thursday's cannot come quick enough for my daughter.

I have known Amanda Grimsey for approximately 15 years. In that time I have found her to be honest, caring, punctual and extremely reliable. In her capacity as a drama teacher she demonstrated an excellent rapport with all her students and coached and encouraged them to achieve their goals and dreams.
